Services and tariffs

A service is anything you charge for: water, power, membership dues, rent, a road repair. Its billing type decides how each charge is worked out.

Three billing types

  • Metered — a price per unit, like per m³ or kWh. A plot is charged when its meter reading is approved.
  • Recurring — billed every month, quarter or year: either The same amount for every plot, or By plot size, per sotka — for example 25 per sotka.
  • One-time — a default amount and description for one-off charges.

1. Add a service

  1. Open Services & tariffs and click Add service.
  2. Enter a name and choose the billing type. For a recurring service choose Billed every and Charged; for a metered one, the unit.
  3. Enter the price and click Add service.

For example, garden dues: Recurring, billed every year, by plot size, 120 per sotka. A plot of 12 sotkas then pays 1,440 a year.

2. Subscribe plots

  1. Open Subscriptions and click Add subscription.
  2. Pick the Plot and the Service — each service shows what that plot would pay — and the Starts date, no earlier than the 1st of this month.
  3. For a metered service without a meter on that plot, choose Fit a meter from store or Or register a new one.
  4. Click Subscribe.

3. Billing on the 1st

Early in the morning on the 1st of each month (Kyiv time), every recurring subscription gets one pending charge for the month that has just ended. Quarterly services are billed on 1 January, April, July and October, yearly ones on 1 January. A subscription active for any part of the period is charged for the whole period, and the charge names it in the organization's language: "Water · September 2026".

Good to know

  • Billing never goes back: months before a subscription started are not charged.
  • Ending a subscription stops billing after the current period — which is still charged in full — and returns its meter to the store.
